SPRING MILL NEWS

As a reminder, the monthly board bills are due by the 10th of the month.  If you have not paid your balance by the 15th of the month, we’ll send you an email reminder.    If by the 30th of the month, we have not received your payment, we will charge a $25.00 late fee, and we will be unable to provide services to you until your balance is paid in full.  Please note that show bills are due within two weeks of the last day of the show.  If you are competing in a several week-long show circuit, such as Gulfport, please be mindful that week one’s bill is due by the end of week three, and so on.  If you have any questions about when bills are due, please don’t hesitate to see Caroline or Lindy.

Please check the bulletin boards in both the upper and lower barns for copies of the latest horse show schedule and price list.

AS THE WHEEL TURNS…THE HAMSTER’S CORNER

By Caroline Milot

Spring Mill Farm welcomes J. T. Lawson on board.  He will be working with/overseeing our guys.  Maintenance issues will be his specialty!  He has previously worked at Shelby Farms and Rock Creek Stables, so he comes to us with a horsey background.  Please give him a big Spring Mill welcome when you see him.

Gulfport is almost upon us.  For those attending, make sure you have your show sheets and blankets ready to go with your horse or pony (don’t forget to make sure they are well labeled!).  We are getting a couple of paddocks and will probably take down 2 or 3 “generic” turn out blankets.  Spring Mill will be leaving on Sunday, February 10th, so please have your trunks packed and ready by Friday afternoon, February 8th.  Thanks!

Caroline
