We survived the HOT, HUMID Germantown Charity
Horse Show. Mother Nature sure likes to make life tough on us! It
was a very successful show and our large group pulled in all sorts
of ribbons. Eli was a smash hit Friday evening in his solo
demonstration, I think that was a first for the Charity! Hey, it is
an all breed show, so now the draft horse is in the mix!
These hazy
days of summer are hard on man and beast alike. Be careful when
riding and stay hydrated and let your horse take lots of walk
breaks! If you notice that your horse is not sweating very well,
please let Maggie, Amy, Caroline or Erica know so we can address
this very important health issue. |
